Die Vegetation ist bereits südlicher geworden; ungemeinhäufig ist die Edelkastanie. Da wieder ein Tunnel und gleich darauf eineBrücke von ganz eigenartiger Konstruktion, welche die wilde Lukaschluchtübersetzt. Das ist ein imposanter Anblick. Und immer neue Einschnitte,neue Tunnels. Dicht an den Felsen und am steilen Abgrunde die Bahn, alskühnes Gebilde von Menschenhand. So erreichen wir d\c Station Brdjani mitherrlicher Rundsicht. Auf der Lehne des eigentlichen Tresanicathales dahin-fahrend, haben wir tief unter uns das Pravosnicathal und die FahrstrasseMostar-Sarajevo, vor uns den schneebedeckten Prenj. Und abermals fahrenwir in Tunnels, durch das Tresanicathal zur Station Podorozac, wo von der1 Iercegovinaer Seite der eigentliche Ivanaufstieg mit ununterbrochener Zahn-stangrenanlaore und Steigungen bis zu 60 Prozent beginnt.
