- In our Croatian encyclopedia is stated - "Polo, Marko (tal. Marco), istraživač i putopisac (Venecija ili Korčula, 1254 – Venecija, 8. I. 1324)" or on english "Polo, Marco (Italian: Marco), researcher and travel writer (Venice or Korčula, 1254 - Venice, January 8, 1324)". So, take it easy - let's scientists do their job.
