(PDF)], daje pod rednim brojem 16. – Belarus; Republika Belarus (dakle nije više Bjelarus).

Već ova činjenica upućuje na zaključak, MVPEI nije jezikoslovna institucija, nije institut, već je ministarstvo (tijelo državne uprave). Kao takvo može samo sudjelovati kao jezikograditelj, ako za to ima volje, i ne manje važno, ako za to ima znanja. Pri toj jezikogradnji nije značajnije od ostalih čimbenika.

"Bielorussia" is an old name, that existed before the 19th of september 1991 when was adopted the Law of Belarusian soviet socialist republic about the name of Belarusian soviet socialist republic.According to the Law the BSSR was renamed the "Republic of Belarus" (shortly "Belarus").Important clause of this Law is that the name of the Republic of Belarus must be transliterated to other languages in conformity with the belarusian form. Including the russian language, in which it must be called "Belarus". So, the country under the name "Bielorussia" doesn`t exist from 1991. Also, you should know, that in Belarus are two oficial languages - belarusian and russian, and in each of them it is written "Belarus". Today, in all official international events (summits, conferences, meetings and so on.), in the diplomatic relations and correspondence between all countries, including in the diplomatic correspondence and diplomatic relations between Russia and Belarus is strictly observed: there is only the name "Belarus". But outside the official spheres russians are still using the wrong term "Bielorussia". The situation with Belarus is similar with those, when Persia announced to the world that she is now - Iran, and Ceylon -that he is now Sri Lanka, Burma - Myanmar, Northern Rhodesia - Zambia, Bengal - Bangladesh, Upper Volta - Burkina Faso. Under these new names, these countries are known everywhere today. And you CAN`T refer to the frequency and practice of usage of the name "Bielorussia" in Croatian language, when you use "Iran" instead of "Persia". p.s. Also you can see the official documents of the Unated Nations, where thre is only "Republic of Belarus".

U skladu s ovim vrlo relevantnim izvorom nema, zapravo, nikakve dvojbe u vezi naziva Bjelorusije (koliko vidim, i u našem je članku sve uglavnom pokriveno izvorima): ovo je ipak Wikipedija na hrvatskom jeziku s kojom službeno diplomatsko nazivlje i ne mora nužno imati neke osobite veze...
