(Another example is Olympique Lyonnais). In Greek is written with "y", as it comes from Ολυμπία the ancient city, where the ancient Olympic Games were held. In Croatian the Olympic games are written with "i" (Olimpijske igre). But I noticed that some other similar names are written with "y", such as Olympia, Washington, or the Greek basketball team Olympia Larisa.
